We're a small but growing business specialising in high?quality home improvement products including premium natural stone and porcelain tiles, oak flooring and bespoke kitchen worktops made to order in our own factory. Our mission is to help customers transform their properties through expert advice, quality products and outstanding service. We pride ourselves on being approachable, knowledgeable and innovative, and we're now looking for a proactive Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining marketing creativity with sales drive. You'll be responsible for generating and nurturing leads across multiple channels, guiding customers through the buying process and ensuring every enquiry receives friendly, professional attention.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead generation:
Plan and execute campaigns across the web, social media, Google Ads and targeted outreach to attract potential customers. Test and refine your approach to maximise leads.
Lead processing:
Engage leads through discovery calls and emails, qualify their needs, prepare detailed quotes and follow up until a decision is made.
Enquiry handling:
Be the first point of contact for phone, email and walk-in queries, answering questions and providing product advice.
Closing sales:
Secure orders by building trust and obtaining deposit payments, then hand over details to the operations team for fulfilment. You'll need persistence and determination to see each sale through to completion, and you must be comfortable picking up the phone to chase up leads and close deals.
Record?keeping:
Keep accurate notes of interactions, quotes and sales using cloud-based tools to ensure full visibility across the team.
Continuous improvement:
Use AI and other tools to automate routine tasks, analyse campaign performance and suggest improvements.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role you'll need a blend of marketing know?how, sales ability and customer empathy. We're more interested in your attitude and potential than your qualifications, so even if you don't tick every box, we encourage you to apply.
Essential:
A track record in sales, marketing or business development.
Comfortable with digital marketing tools (e.g., social media platforms, Google Ads), MS Office and CRM software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to build rapport quickly and explain complex options simply.
A determined, resilient approach to sales: you're not shy about picking up the phone, following up on leads and driving deals to completion.
Highly organised with strong attention to detail; able to juggle multiple enquiries at once.
Self?motivated and results?driven, with a willingness to learn.
Desirable:
Familiarity with the home improvement sector or a passion for interior design.
Knowledge of email marketing platforms and analytics tools.
