Job Overview



As Sales Office Manager, you will be responsible for the daily operations of the sales office, driving efficiency and productivity. You will support the sales team by managing administrative tasks, coordinating resources, and fostering a positive work environment. These responsibilities are key to achieving overall sales success.

This office-based position reports to the Managing Director and leads a team of five direct reports.

What we expect from the position:



The sales office is the primary point of contact, providing exceptional customer service through friendly and informative interactions. This includes answering enquiries, providing accurate quotes, and ensuring customers are well-informed.

Responsibilities



Support the team in dealing with enquires from our own sales team as well as directly from our customers. Making commercial decisions where necessary. Ensure customers are well-informed in a friendly and professional manner. Proactively identify and address any office supply or equipment requirements to ensure the Sales team has the resources necessary for optimal performance. Provide efficient and accurate administrative support to the Sales Coordinators, including: Data entry and maintenance of customer and sales information, Generation of timely and insightful sales reports, and Preparation of professional and accurate sales-related documents. Schedule and facilitate team meetings with Sales Coordinators, ensuring open communication, active participation, and clear action plans. Foster a positive and collaborative team environment. Manage sales-related correspondence and communication. Use the designation CRM, currently Salesforce, to maintain accurate customer and sales records. Coordinate with the Design and Production departments. Manage and coordinate office staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation, with support from the Group HR Manager. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members.

Process Improvement



Identify opportunities to streamline office processes and increase efficiency. Implement new systems and technologies to enhance sales operations. Monitor and analyse office performance metrics. Ensure tasks are performed in accordance with our ISO standards.
You will be a commercially aware, experienced team supervisor, preferably with experience running a sales office supporting a manufacturing business.

You will be organised, a good time manager and attentive to detail.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems is essential. Establishing rapport with internal and external stakeholders is key to this role.
