The Sales Operations Manager will be responsible for optimising our sales processes, enabling revenue growth, and driving efficiency across the sales organisation. You will be a highly visible and critical partner to sales leadership, providing data-driven insights and operational excellence to drive predictable and scalable growth and ensure that the sales team is empowered to achieve and exceed targets.

Key Responsibilities:Execute the overall sales operations strategy in alignment with the company's revenue goals and go-to-market strategy. Partner with sales leadership to identify and implement initiatives that drive sales efficiency, productivity, and effectiveness. Lead the annual sales planning process, including quota setting, territory design, and resource allocation. Design and implement robust account assignment methodologies, ensuring optimal coverage, minimising conflict, and maximising revenue potential. Conduct detailed capacity planning analyses to determine optimal headcount, identify hiring needs, and ensure adequate resources to support growth. Develop and maintain territory management frameworks, including rules for rebalancing and account reassignment. Collaborate with sales leadership to establish challenging yet achievable sales targets for individuals, teams, and regions, leveraging historical data, market potential, and strategic objectives. Develop and implement performance dashboards and reporting mechanisms to track progress against targets, identify trends, and provide actionable insights. Partner with sales managers to develop and implement effective performance review processes and remediation strategies. Design, develop, and administer fair, motivating, and transparent sales commission plans that align with strategic objectives and drive desired sales behaviours. Ensure accurate and timely calculation and payout of commissions, collaborating closely with finance. Regularly review and recommend adjustments to commission plans based on performance, market conditions, and business needs. Define, document, and enforce clear "Rules of Engagement" for the sales team, covering areas such as lead qualification, deal registration, discount policies, and inter-departmental collaboration. Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the sales process and lead initiatives to optimise workflows, leverage automation, and improve overall sales productivity. Oversee the CRM strategy and administration, ensuring data integrity, optimal configuration, and user adoption. Provide dedicated operational support to specific sales verticals or regions, understanding their unique challenges and opportunities. Work with the Lead BI Analyst to develop tailored reporting, analytics, and enablement programs to address the specific needs of different sales segments. Act as a central point of contact for sales leadership on operational matters, facilitating communication and problem-solving. Work alongside the Pricing and BI Teams to evaluate, select, implement, and manage the sales technology stack (e.g. CRM, CPQ, sales engagement platforms, analytics tools, etc.) to enhance sales effectiveness. Partner with sales training to develop and deliver training programs on sales processes, tools, and best practices. Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of sales operations professionals. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and operational excellence within the sales operations function.

Skills & Experience:Significant experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or related roles, with leadership capacity. Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce strongly preferred) and BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, etc.). Proven track record of driving sales productivity and operational efficiency. Advanced analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. A strategic mindset with a detail oriented approach Strong communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills. Experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth industries preferred.
