Summary

'Sales Operator' is a vital role at Allegro Logistics, based in Clevedon. This position contributes to our mission by ensuring smooth operations within our supply chain and logistics services, supporting our commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage transportation activities using advanced transportation management systems. Support supply chain operations by maintaining accurate data entry and documentation. Utilize CRM software to track client interactions and improve service delivery. Negotiate with carriers and vendors to optimise logistics costs. Assist in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely deliveries. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as FDA standards when applicable. Collaborate with sales teams for B2B client support and lead generation efforts.

Qualifications

A understanding of supply chain processes. Proficiency in CRM software and data entry. Excellent negotiation skills. Knowledge of 3PL operations and EDI systems. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Attention to detail and organizational skills. Prior experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred.
