We are a local independent TV, audio and white goods retailer, based in the beautiful village of South Petherton. This role is primarily working in our shop where the successful candidate will join our friendly team and enjoy a varied role that includes sales, customer service and admin.
We are looking for a enthusiastic 'people person' who is willing to learn, can quickly adapt their approach to the needs of the customer and carries out their duties in a professional, yet approachable manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcoming customers and dealing with queries
Providing excellent customer service
Generating sales of televisions, audio equipment and white goods
Handling cash and card transactions
Dealing with customer concerns and aftersales support
Answering telephone and email enquiries
Sales & Service Admin (Sales invoices/registrations/contract renewals)
Social Media & Website / eBay ( Updates & Sales )
Occasional off-site visits to assist with installations
Essential Skills:
Maths & English (GCSE or proven ability)
Customer Service / 'People skills'
Communication - Verbal & Written (with both colleagues & customers)
Computer use (Microsoft Office & Email)
Ability to learn new skills relating to technology
Punctuality / Time Keeping
Desirable Skills:
Knowledge of technology
Practical ability (Basic DIY / flatpack assembly of cabinets)
Retail experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.21 per hour
Expected hours: 22.5 - 30 per week
