Role Purpose




We are seeking a Sales & Progression Operations Manager to drive our sales strategy, enhance team performance, and foster a culture of success. This role will involve overseeing the sales progression process, from purchases reservation through to completion, ensuring alignment with company goals, and implementing best practices to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.


The successful candidate will need to be flexible, confident and approachable, capable of adapting their approach to achieve a comprehensive sales progression service and meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities




Develop and execute a comprehensive sales progression strategy that aligns with company objectives.


Lead and mentor the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
Analyse sales & completion data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales efforts with promotional campaigns and product launches.
Implement training and development programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the team.
Create and maintain performance metrics to monitor team performance and progress.
Establish strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to drive business growth.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitive landscape to adapt strategies accordingly

Requirements:

Person Specification Capabilities and Experience




The candidate will have:

Minimum of 3-years' experience of housing, sales, and marketing within the shared ownership sector Enthusiastic, organised, and systematic with a good work ethic Caring and Patient with good problem-solving skills Able to work under own initiative and work under pressure to achieve tight timescales Proven experience of achieving sales completion targets and leading a team within a residential environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate complex information effectively Strong influencing and networking skills, with proven ability to work with others to achieve results Demonstrated commitment to change and continuous improvement Ability to develop innovative ways to improve service delivery in area of responsibility Sound numeracy, analytical and project management skills
Able to perform in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining a positive and enthusiastic approach

Standard Responsibilities

Salary and benefits



Salary:

45,000 - 48,000 per annum

Hours of work:

Full-time 39 hours per week with the ability to work up to 60 days a year home working. In this role, we expect there to be a degree of travel and flexibility, with some evening and weekend working, as necessary.


Holiday:

25 days a year plus English Bank Holidays
