The Role
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Reservations Agent to join our busy office team. You'll be the first point of contact for customers making enquiries and bookings, ensuring a smooth process from initial request through to confirmed reservation. It's also important that you have a proactive attitude and are prepared to generate potential business too. This is a key role in delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls, emails, and online booking enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
Provide accurate quotes, availability, and travel information to customers
Manage reservations using our booking system, ensuring all details are recorded correctly
Make outbound proactive calls to existing customers and new prospects
Liaise with the operations team to coordinate vehicle and driver schedules
Follow up on enquiries to convert quotes into confirmed bookings
Support customers with amendments, special requests, or last-minute changes
Maintain knowledge of company services, fleet, and policies to provide clear advice
Deliver outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
About You:
Previous experience in reservations, customer service, or a call centre environment (preferred)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced office
Confident IT skills, including Microsoft Office and booking systems
Experience using Coach Manager booking software would be a bonus
Positive, professional, and customer-focused attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a supportive team
What We Offer:
40 hrs per week, Monday to Friday
Salary 13.59 per hour
20 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays)
