Job Description
We invite applications for the post of:
SALES & STORES PERSON
Part Time OR Full Time & Permanent
The post holder will be responsible for processing orders, serving customers at the trade counter, maintaining stock levels, placing orders and checking in and putting away deliveries.
The successful applicant should meet the following criteria:
Essential Criteria:
GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English (at Grade C or above). Be enthusiastic, eager to learn and able to work as part of a team. Have the ability to work on own initiative. Be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with suppliers and members of the general public. Have good time management skills including the ability to prioritise demands and to work effectively without day to day supervision. Be customer focused. Be flexible and able to work overtime when necessary. Be computer literate.
Desirable Criteria:
Have a recognised electrical /retailing qualification and/or at least one year's relevant experience. Have a full driving licence.
