Overview:



A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic person to join our successful team in Sales Support role.

Based in a busy sales office this role involves providing a point of contact for our customers, advising them on our large product range and maintaining a high level of customer service at all times.

Ability to continuously learn and become increasingly effective and successful is essential, with product at the core, as demonstrated by our current highly effective, capable team in the sales office.

Must be commercially effective and inquisitive and enjoy investigating leads and winning business.

Key responsibilities will include :-



Advising customers by telephone and email

Quoting and order acquisition and processing

Interfacing internally and with customers to provide great service and retain business

Duties to include:



Answer Customer calls for the UK and respond to emails promptly, be available for Customers to contact.

Advise Customers on our Product Range

Understand how our Products are used and be able to advise the correct Product for each application, be the "expert"

Provide datasheets and specific details

Provide quotations in an accurate and timely manner

Know when to ask for input or to refer, if a non-standard product/application is required.

Processing Orders

Planning customer deliveries

Be responsible for own Quote Book and keep up to date at all times with chase dates and all notes relating to the quote / project.

Become multi-skilled to cover any function / operation carried out in the Sales Office, including delivery planning - both for absence/holiday cover and for progression

To undertake any other reasonable tasks as deemed necessary by the line manager.



Knowledge - Skills - Experience



Experience of working within a busy office environment.

Excellent accuracy is essential with an obsession for detail and ability to focus on understanding and processing large amounts of detail accurately and with the right conclusions.

The ability to work closely, quickly and effectively within prescribed timeframes.

Excellent communication and IT skills

A good appreciation for Technical aspects is also important, since the product range is large and varied and must be completely understood in order to be able to offer the correct support and advice to customers.

Previous experience of working with a physical product range would be advantageous
