We're looking for an enthusiastic and organised Sales Support Assistant to help promote our products and services and support our growing sales team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of telephone sales, campaign coordination, and customer engagement.
You'll play a key role in generating leads, supporting sales campaigns, and helping deliver exceptional service to our customers. The role will also involve regular travel and overnight stays to attend trade shows, support external sales activity, or visit clients across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and follow up on sales leads
Make outbound phone calls to customers
Maintain and update customer records
Analyse and present sales data and campaign performance
Support the delivery of e-shots, mailshots, and sales campaigns
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings (travel required)
Preferred Experience and Characteristics
At least 1 year's experience in sales or marketing (required)
Strong lead generation and follow-up skills
Confident and professional phone manner
Comfortable analysing figures and translating data into action
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Experience using SAGE software is desirable
A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a willingness to learn
Willingness to travel regularly and stay overnight as needed
