We are the sole UK distributors for the whole Faulhaber Group as well as MPS and Piezomotor. Located across two sites, our head office, design and manufacturing are based in Holton Heath, Dorset, while our sales office is in Aldermaston, Berkshire and covers order processing, administration and warehousing. Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our Sales team. The successful candidate will play an important role in the department ensuring strong customer and supplier relationships are developed and maintained whilst supporting the team in achieving sales goals.
The position reports to the sales office supervisor and covers internal sales functions of the business, while providing support to the external sales team where required. Internal sales at EMS comprises of a small team, who are key to the wider success of the business, and as such this role requires a person who can work effectively in a small office, is adaptable to change and can be flexible in their approach to work. Having strong organisation skills along with the ability to work under pressure are key aspects of the role.
Responsibilities:
Responding to technical and commercial enquiries via email and telephone with the ability of escalating as required.
Processing customer orders.
Provide Sales Support to the Area Sales Managers.
Liaise with principals.
Maintain customer CRM information.
Providing support when required for non-conformance processing, for products handled by and distributed through the sales office.
Provide Audit support.
Ensuring Health and Safety standards are met.
Liaising with other departments to ensure standards and deadlines are met, and to guarantee continual improvement.
Contributing to meetings and the company's continuous improvement activities.
Always maintaining a positive and professional attitude.
Provide Stores support in exceptional circumstances.
Providing support to the Sales Office Supervisor when necessary.
Requirements:
Experience in customer support and relationship management.
Ideally qualified to A-Level standard in Maths, Physics or similar.Ability to communicate in an engineering environment with a good understanding of engineering terminology and practice.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Good organisational skills and the ability to self-motivate.
Awareness of Health and Safety practices in the workplace.
