Our Head Office in Nottingham is the hub of our fast-paced operation -- and we're now looking for an experienced Sales Support Executive to play a pivotal role in supporting our sales, operations, and leadership teams.

This is a key position within the business that requires a highly organised, commercially astute individual who thrives on responsibility and can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

The Role

As a Sales Support Executive at DSL, you'll be at the centre of our commercial operations, ensuring systems run smoothly, information is accurate, and communication across departments and customers is seamless.

You'll work closely with our Sales Directors, Account Managers, and internal teams to provide the administrative and analytical backbone that keeps the business running efficiently.

Your work will directly contribute to the success of our customer relationships, product launches, and day-to-day business performance.

Key Responsibilities

CRM & Systems Management

Use Sage 200 CRM (experience with Sage 200 CRM is highly desirable) to manage customer data, record activity, and support reporting. Produce system-based reports to track performance, trends, and sales opportunities. Identify process improvements to enhance data flow and efficiency.

Product Setup & Data Accuracy

Coordinate product setups for new lines, ensuring all details are captured and communicated correctly. Work with internal stakeholders (Sales, Supply Chain, and Marketing) to ensure product information is accurate and aligned across systems. Manage and update New Line Forms and pricing templates.

Operational & Executive Support

Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior leadership, including diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements. Prepare documents, presentations, and correspondence with a high level of professionalism. Liaise confidently with suppliers, customers, and key business partners.

Reporting & Analysis

Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports for management, sales, and operations teams. Support business planning, performance tracking, and KPI analysis. Present data in clear, concise formats that drive decision-making.

Corporate Events & Internal Engagement

Support the organisation of corporate events, conferences, and team activities. Manage bookings, venues, catering, and communications. Contribute to staff engagement initiatives and internal communication.

About You

We're looking for someone who is experienced, reliable, and proactive, someone who takes ownership and takes pride in doing things well.

You'll need:

Minimum 5 years' experience in business administration, operations support, or sales coordination within a commercial environment. Strong understanding of business systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Excel (advanced level). Proven experience working with Sage 200 CRM or similar platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence liaising at all levels including directors and clients. Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. A logical, problem-solving mindset and a genuine desire to improve processes and efficiency. Experience coordinating meetings, events, or projects would be an advantage.
