The opportunity:




We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented

Sales Support Executive

to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in supporting the sales cycle from initial client contact through to deal closure. You will serve as the connective tissue between clients, designers, and the sales team, ensuring a seamless flow of communication and action to bring projects successfully over the line.

Location & Hours:




The role is permanent and based out of our beautiful HQ in Henham (CM22 6AA), enjoying a rural location, where lunch is provided onsite daily and ample parking. Working hours are 40 hours per week and we offer agile working whereby you can work 1 day from home.

Key Deliverables:




Client Engagement & Relationship Management

Serve as a key point of contact for incoming client follow ups and a support to the Sales Manager Maintain consistent, professional communication with clients throughout the sales process. Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders in client organisations. Efficiently manage administrative tasks related to client requests, contract amendments, and cancellations. Handle client information requests and questionnaires
Sales Process Coordination

Support the preparation of proposals, quotations, tenders, and presentations. Maintain and update CRM systems to ensure accurate tracking of opportunities. Ensure accuracy and completeness of client records and documentation. Coordinate with internal teams (design, estimating, project management) to meet project milestones and keep clients informed. Prepare and circulate weekly change reports to Contract Managers.
Design & Sales Facilitation

Liaise between sales and design teams to ensure project briefs, timelines, and deliverables are aligned. Assist in arranging site visits, client meetings, and presentations. Ensure all parties have access to up-to-date documentation, technical details, and project materials.
Deal Closure & Handover

Monitor project status and proactively flag risks or blockers to successful completion. Assist in preparing and processing contracts and project initiation documents. Coordinate the handover process from sales to project delivery teams, ensuring information continuity. Monitor outstanding debts and collaborate with Contract Managers to manage overdue payments.

Requirements



What you will need



We welcome applications from applicants with experience in Sales Support, Administrative Support, Commercial Support

Good understanding of financial processes Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills; able to liaise effectively with clients, designers, and commercial teams. Highly organised with strong excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with CRM and ERP/accounting systems. Excellent Customer Service skills. An understanding of construction fit-outs, interior design workflows, or commercial project cycles is highly advantageous. Proactive, analytical, and capable of improving processes for greater efficiency. An ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems. Experience in sales support, sales admin, or client-facing coordination role--preferably within construction, interiors, or design. Experience in accounts receivable/credit control Experience with Accounting/ERP systems - knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Business Central would be beneficial
