The Role...
The person in this role will be an important support to the Commercial Director & National Account Managers, as well as a key team member for the rest of the Sales & Marketing department. There will be exciting opportunities for progression & growth in the role, if desired, as well as thorough training & support.
Role responsibilities:
Support the National Account Managers with sales operations ie:
o Prepare customer quotes
o Complete new customer set-up forms
o Complete new-product forms & provide information/data to customers when requested
o Upload product data & imagery to customer websites
o Organise postage of product samples to customers / key stakeholders
o Regularly check images, videos & copy are up-to-date on customer websites
Assist the CEO, Commercial Director & senior Sales & Marketing team with all necessary & any ad-hoc tasks
This full-time role is office based, in
York
, & working hours are typically 8.30am - 5pm, Monday-Friday, with some flexibility if needed. Some travel may be required during preview seasons & for toy fairs/exhibitions. Start date for the role will be
as soon as possible

At least 3 years' work experience in a Sales & Marketing support environment (essential)
At least 3 years' work experience in administration (essential)
A very keen eye for attention to detail (essential)
Very organised, proactive & strong time management skills (essential)
Professional, mature & friendly manner with a desire to help; a team player (essential)
Reactive & able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, at peak times (essential)
Proficient using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word; very comfortable working with IT systems (essential)
An understanding of sales data & analysis (essential)
Minimum GCSE level B in English & Maths (essential)
A great communicator & a natural on the phone, with experience handling inbound & outbound calls (ideal)
Experience of directly assisting/supporting senior management (ideal)
Experience managing or supervising people (ideal)
Experience working in the Children's Toy industry (ideal)
