An exciting temporary (with opportunity of permanent) opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, and motivated individual to join our established and professional salon team at Gershwins.
Working closely with the Salon Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the salon. You will help deliver an exceptional Gershwins experience for every guest, while consistently maintaining our high professional standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment and is looking to gain experience within the hair and beauty industry.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting stylists during busy salon periods
Shampooing and preparing clients for services
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping throughout the salon
Supporting Front of House operations and guest experience
Supporting capturing content for social media and managing social channels
Helping ensure the salon runs efficiently and professionally at all times
Full training will be provided.
About You
Previous hairdressing experience is
not essential
Experience within the hospitality or customer service industry is highly desirable Excellent organisational and communication skills Friendly, flexible, focused, and resilient approach to work Ability to build positive relationships quickly with clients and colleagues Strong customer care standards and a proactive attitude Familiarity with phone and salon booking systems or quick to learn Familiarity with social media channelsAdditional Information
A covering letter is essential References will be requested Wage is dependent on experience Minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility for the right candidate Saturday availability is required
