We are a well-established and growing women's beauty and aesthetics salon offering a wide range of premium services, including nail care and extensions, hair cutting, colouring and styling, advanced facial treatments, semi-permanent makeup, laser hair removal, massage therapies, and professional makeup services.

As part of our expansion, we are seeking an experienced and highly capable Salon Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations, and support the continued growth and success of the business. This is a key leadership role for someone who is passionate about the beauty industry and confident in managing both people and operations.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day running of the salon, ensuring smooth operations across all departments. Lead, manage, and motivate a multi-skilled team of hair, beauty, aesthetics, and freelance professionals. Ensure exceptional customer experience and high service standards at all times. Manage staff schedules, rotas, holidays, and attendance. Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new team members. Monitor performance, conduct reviews, and address any staff issues professionally. Ensure full compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and licensing regulations. Oversee stock control, supplier orders, and inventory management. Handle client feedback, complaints, and service recovery when required. Drive sales performance, upselling, and service promotions. Monitor daily takings, targets, and basic financial reporting. Work closely with the business owner to implement growth strategies.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Salon Manager or Assistant Manager in a beauty, hair, or aesthetics environment. Strong understanding of hair, beauty, and advanced aesthetic services. Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills. Confident in managing both employed staff and freelancers. Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities. Experience with rotas, KPIs, targets, and basic financial management. Knowledge of UK health & safety and hygiene standards. Professional, reliable, and able to lead by example. Fluent in English.
