Please note: This role is multi-site and will require you to work across our Notting Hill, Fitzrovia, and Liverpool Street salons.

Role Purpose:



The Salon Manager at Samantha Cusick London plays a pivotal leadership role in driving the day-to-day operations, culture, and performance of the salon. You'll be at the heart of what makes our spaces thrive: exceptional service, seamless coordination, and a team empowered to do their best work. With a hands-on, floor-based approach, your focus is to support both the Creative and Front-of-House teams while ensuring every guest has an unforgettable experience.

Key Responsibilities:



Floor & Client Experience Management


-Lead the daily flow of the salon floor ensuring a clean, calm, and professional atmosphere.

-Be a present and proactive leader, addressing issues in real-time and identifying improvements.

Team Leadership & People Development


-Oversee, mentor, and inspire the Front-of-House team and Assistants, ensuring exceptional service standards are consistently delivered.

-Support the onboarding and training of all new front-of-house and apprentice team members.

-Champion a culture of collaboration, communication, and positivity across all departments.

Client Care & Complaint Resolution


-Build relationships with our guests and ensure their feedback is actioned promptly and with care.

-Handle all complaints professionally and empathetically, providing swift and effective resolutions.

Stock & Inventory Management


-Manage all stock and ordering in collaboration with the Operations Manager.

-Ensure the salon is always fully equipped and stock is organised, accessible, and up-to-date.

Smart Booking & Scheduling Oversight


-Ensure the salon booking system is maintained with maximum efficiency, including daily scans to identify gaps, conflicts, or opportunities.

-Cross-check online bookings and proactively manage appointment flow to maximise productivity.

Retail, Rebooking & Revenue Growth


-Drive retail performance and rebooking through coaching, team engagement, and reporting.

-Ensure all team members are aligned with retail and rebooking expectations.

Social Media & Marketing Support


-Encourage and assist the team in capturing content and staying consistent with social media targets.

-Work with the marketing team to align promotions, events, and campaigns.

Events & Campaign Management


-Coordinate and lead salon events, training sessions, workshops, and promotional activations.

Reporting & KPIs


-Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) weekly and monthly.

-Provide insight into team performance and salon goals and identify areas for development.

Salon Maintenance & Safety Compliance


-Ensure all equipment and spaces are maintained to brand standards.

-Conduct regular health and safety checks and uphold compliance protocols.

-Serve as the designated Fire Marshal, first aid logkeeper, and safety lead.

Culture & Brand Ambassador


-Lead by example in embodying the values and tone of Samantha Cusick London: Vitality, Integrity, Be You, Empowerment, and Solidarity.

Previous experience in salon management or senior front-of-house roles within the beauty, wellness, or retail sectors. Clear, confident communication and a collaborative mindset. A proactive approach to organisation, time management, and problem-solving. Tech confidence--you're comfortable navigating salon booking systems and staying ahead of the game. A genuine love for service, people, and creating an exceptional client journey from start to finish. The ability to multitask with ease while maintaining calm, focus, and professionalism.
