Position Title: Salon Manager

Reports to: Managing Directors

Responsible for: Salon operations, staff management and

development, and revenue growth.

About the Role:

Baileys & Co is seeking a dynamic and experienced Salon Manager to

lead and oversee the daily operations of our vibrant salon. This role is

critical in ensuring exceptional client experiences, driving sales, and

fostering a motivated and skilled team. The successful candidate will

bring strong leadership, a passion for the beauty industry, and a strategic

mindset to support the continued growth and success of our business.

This is a full-time role requiring flexible availability to provide

management coverage across operational hours, including weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

. Oversee and support all employees and self-employed professionals

(e.g., hairdressers, nail technicians) to ensure high-quality customer

service.

. Manage the salon's booking system to maximise appointments and align

staffing with business needs.

. Develop and implement 3-6 month sales and marketing plans with a

focus on driving business during weekends and off-peak times.

. Proactively increase sales and revenue across all salon services.

. Assist with book keeping and management of purchases.

. Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development support to

all staff.

.Ensure strict adherence to operational procedures and company

reporting policies.

. Implement and maintain health & safety policies, ensuring all key staff

are trained in first aid and emergency procedures.

. Help to maintain the salon's social media platforms (e.g., Instagram,

Facebook, TikTok) to uphold a professional brand image and attract

new clients through engaging and consistent content.

. Assist in chairing quarterly staff meetings to promote team

communication and morale.

. Conduct regular performance review meetings with Managing Directors

and contribute to business improvement strategies.

. Oversee cash handling and stock control in compliance with company

policy.

. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, repair, and presentation

throughout the salon.

.Coordinate timely ordering and inventory management of products and

supplies.

. Perform additional tasks as required, aligned with the nature and level

of the position.

Skills & Experience:

Essential -

Proven experience in a salon or retail management role.

. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and team development skills.

Solid understanding of sales and marketing strategies.

. Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.

Knowledge of salon booking systems and stock management.

. Understanding of health & safety protocols.
