Recommending and promoting salon products and services to boost sales.
Implementing, supervising, and participating in salon cleaning practices in line with health and safety standards.
Monitoring and maintaining appropriate stock levels of hair products, tools, and supplies, placing orders as needed.
Overseeing front desk duties, including greeting clients, handling bookings, answering the phone, managing payments, and responding to enquiries.
Handle staff training, development, and onboarding processes of new staff members.
Monitoring retail performance and manage stock rotation/display, identifying opportunities for promotions and/or new services.
Qualifications/Requirements
NVQ Level 2 in hairdressing/beauty preferred but not required
Previous salon and management experience essential
Previous experience as a salon manager or in a similar leadership role within the hair and beauty industry
Good team player
Excellent interpersonal skills
Engaging personality
The ability to deliver an excellent level of customer service
Computer literate
