Job Description

At Noubalm we are expanding our team and are looking to hire a Salon Receptionist/Administrator. This is a client facing role within the salon's tranquil settings in Oxton. This role will initially be based across 2 days, with the possibility of increasing in the future, following the shift hours of 10am-4pm, including Saturdays. This position is on a self employed basis.

Please see below list of duties included but not limited to -

Responsibilities:

- Managing client bookings via phone, email, in person. Offering advice and guidance on treatments & products

-Welcoming and hosting clients in a friendly and professional manner

- Handling client enquiries & complaints

- Processing online orders through website & third party retailers

- Salon maintenance - cleaning, upkeep & maintenance of all areas, laundry

- Ensure correct booking procedures are followed - patch tests carried out, timings, client details

- Assisting in the set up and turn down of rooms between clients

- Monitoring room supplies, filling up or ordering when necessary

- Making teas for salon and retail use

- Salon opening & closing procedures

Administrative/ Finance/Stock -



- Invoice processing, raising and settling

- Processing third party orders and delivering

- Finances - cashing up procedures

- Stock ordering - supplies, tools, product equipment

- Monitoring stock levels and requesting replenishment

- Product manufacturing - labeling, making & batch coding

- Sales focus - implementing sales ideas and applying promotional codes

- Supporting Noubalm Beauty & Holistic Training School with admin

- Utilities & bills monitoring, providing reads and settling

- Adhoc duties as requested as necessary

- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the salon's calendar
- Provide information to clients about salon services, pricing, and availability
- Handle cash transactions and process payments using salon systems Fresha
- Maintain client records and update customer information in the salon's database
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of salon supplies
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, and data entry
- Ensure the reception area is clean and organised at all times

Experience:

- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred
- Proficient in using office software such as Google Suite, Fresha, WordPress
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions
