are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Shop Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our shop, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining an organised and welcoming environment. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in a dynamic setting and have a passion for helping customers.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly as they enter the shop and assist them with their inquiries. Maintain an organised and tidy shop environment, ensuring products are well-displayed and stocked. Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the till. Assist customers in locating products and provide knowledgeable recommendations. Handle customer complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction. Participate in inventory management, including stock checks and replenishment. Stay informed about new products, promotions, and store policies to effectively communicate with customers.

Requirements

Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish or other languages is highly desirable. Previous experience in retail or customer service is an advantage but not essential. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-13.80 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 20 per week
