Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of delicious sandwiches while ensuring high standards of food safety and hygiene. Your ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment will contribute to our customers' satisfaction and overall dining experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to established recipes and customer preferences. Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards. Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables and preparing sauces. Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling menu items when appropriate. Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock management to ensure all ingredients are fresh and available. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of food items.

Skills

Strong food preparation skills with an understanding of culinary techniques. Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple orders efficiently. Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations. Basic maths skills for handling transactions and portion control. Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is advantageous but not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to help colleagues in a team-oriented setting.
