Job Description

As the company move to an upgraded SAP system, this fast-moving consumer goods manufacturer is now looking for a SAP Specialist to join the Manufacturing team at their site in Liverpool.

The key purpose is to provide functional support for SAP, being the interface for local on-site applications.

Reporting to the IT Director, responsibilities for the SAP Specialist will be to: -

• Lead and coordinate SAP migration and implementation projects, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Effectively manage project teams and resources to achieve project milestones.
• Oversee ongoing maintenance and provide efficient support for existing systems, ensuring minimal disruptions and resolving issues promptly.
• Drive organisational change to adapt to SAP systems.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, both technically and in a high-level manner. Clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical users, building strong relationships with end users.
• Provide expert advice on business processes from a functional perspective, identifying areas for improvement and optimisation within SAP.
• Educate end users on SAP functionality.

The successful candidate will: -

• Have experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Have hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or SAP4Hana.
• Be proficient in SAP FiCo.
• Be highly organised and an excellent communicator.
• Have experience in maintenance and support of SAP systems or prior consultancy in this area.
