We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit
Yard Operative
to join our busy scaffolding yard. This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting, so a good level of fitness is essential.Key Responsibilities:
Loading and unloading scaffolding equipment Organising and maintaining stock in the yard Cleaning and checking scaffolding components Preparing materials for scaffolders ahead of jobs General yard duties to keep the workspace clean and safe Adhering to all health and safety guidelines
Requirements:
Good level of physical fitness due to lifting and manual handling Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Previous experience in a yard, construction, or scaffolding environment preferred Forklift licence or HGV licence is an advantage, but not essential
