Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled Scaffold Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing and dismantling scaffolding structures that provide support for various construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of safety protocols and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople on-site. The Scaffold Builder will ensure that all scaffolding is erected to the highest standards, allowing for safe access and working conditions.

Responsibilities



Construct and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety regulations and project specifications. Collaborate with site managers and other trades to determine scaffold requirements for various projects. Ensure all scaffolding is plumb, level, and secure before use. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding to identify any potential hazards or maintenance needs. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively to fabricate scaffold components as required. Assist in painting and finishing tasks on scaffolding as needed. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety guidelines at all times.

Skills



Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to scaffold building. Ability to fabricate scaffolding components accurately and efficiently. Knowledge of electrical systems may be beneficial for specific projects. Experience with masonry work could enhance scaffold stability in certain applications. Familiarity with roofing techniques is advantageous for elevated scaffold installations. Welding skills are a plus for creating custom scaffold solutions. A background in carpentry can provide valuable insights into structural integrity during scaffold assembly. Strong attention to detail, ensuring all work meets quality standards and safety regulations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 170.00-180.00 per day
