Duties

Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures in accordance with safety standards and project specifications. Inspect scaffolding for stability and safety throughout the duration of the project. Use a variety of hand tools and power tools to assemble scaffolding components accurately. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, electricians, and masons to ensure seamless project progression. Follow detailed plans and diagrams to ensure correct assembly procedures are adhered to. Maintain a clean work environment by organising tools and materials efficiently. Conduct routine safety checks and report any hazards or issues immediately.

Qualifications

Proven experience in scaffolding installation or related construction roles such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry. Knowledge of construction painting, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or fabrication is advantageous. Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly. Strong understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to working at height. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Physical fitness and stamina to work at heights and lift heavy materials safely. Relevant certifications or training in scaffolding or working at height are preferred but not mandatory.
