M8 Scaffold are a progressively growing company who are looking for Part 1, Part 2 and advanced scaffolders for contracts across central belt with occasional working in Highlands as they come along. Work is mainly over to Helensburgh, down to Lockerbie and mainly about Glasgow and Lanarkshire so suggest your best living with a hour of Glasgow
Responsibilities and overview
You will be an experience scaffolder with a few years experience mainly in similar work
Able to work as a team and manage a team to complete projects
Take down larger jobs
Able to work with your own team
You need to be presentable and tidy when building the jobs
Safety is a huge value for us so leave the job so the client/public aren't at risk
Be neat and build scaffold with isn't just level and safe but consider the way it looks so you don't use a 3 meter standard when a 1 meter will be tidier.
Don't be a moaner and just get job done :-)
But also have the confidence to have your say and make a difference to help us grow
Be good with clients as customer service is key to us.
Work as part of team
Typical work
Erect and take down scaffold mainly cuplock and Tube/Fitting depending on the project
Roof projects with system roofs
Haki stairs
Birdcage and crashdecks
Mainly commercial work which is 2 to 3 weeks projects
When required scaffold inspections
Necessary requirements
CISRS Part 1 or Part 2 card
Desired requirements
Full UK drivers license no more than 3 points or ban in past three years
