Duties

Construct, erect, and dismantle scaffolding systems according to project specifications and safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and welders, to ensure seamless integration of scaffolding with ongoing construction activities. Utilise power tools and hand tools effectively for the assembly of scaffolding components. Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure stability and safety. Assist in the fabrication of custom scaffolding solutions as required by specific project needs. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times. Communicate effectively with site supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any potential issues.

Experience

Previous experience in scaffold building or a related construction field is preferred. Familiarity with using power tools, hand tools, and equipment relevant to scaffold construction. Skills in painting, plumbing, roofing, masonry, or electrical work are advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings related to scaffold design. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential for ensuring quality workmanship.
