Job Summary


We are seeking a skilled and reliable Scaffold Builder to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and dismantling scaffolding structures on various sites. This role requires a strong understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work at heights efficiently. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction trades to utilise their skills in a dynamic environment.

Duties



Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffold structures according to project specifications and safety standards. Inspect scaffolding components regularly to ensure stability and safety throughout the project duration. Collaborate with other trades such as carpenters, roofers, and masons to ensure seamless workflow. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to assemble scaffolding components accurately. Follow all health and safety regulations diligently during all phases of scaffold installation and removal. Maintain organisation of materials and tools on-site to promote efficiency and safety. Assist with site preparation, including material handling and site clearance as required.

Experience



Proven experience in scaffold building or related construction trades such as carpentry, roofing, or masonry. Knowledge of construction painting, plumbing, welding, electrical work, or fabrication is advantageous but not essential. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in scaffolding assembly is essential. Previous experience working at heights with adherence to safety protocols is highly desirable. Ability to interpret technical drawings, diagrams, and safety instructions effectively. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to ensure safe and accurate assembly of scaffolding structures. This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to contribute their specialised skills within a professional construction environment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are maintained throughout all projects.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 16.00-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.50 per week
