Responsibilities
Erect, modify, and dismantle scaffolding structures according to project specifications and safety standards
Inspect scaffolding regularly to identify and address any safety hazards or structural issues
Ensure all scaffolding components are correctly assembled and securely anchored
Follow detailed plans and diagrams to assemble complex scaffold systems efficiently
Maintain clear communication with team members and site managers regarding progress and safety concerns
Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Assist in the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials and tools on-site
Skills
Proven experience as a scaffolder or in a similar role within construction or industrial settings
Strong understanding of scaffolding techniques, safety procedures, and relevant regulations (such as OSHA standards)
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, and schematics accurately
Excellent physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
Good communication skills for effective teamwork and site coordination
Attention to detail to ensure all structures are assembled safely and correctly
Certification in scaffolding or relevant safety training is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain necessary certifications is valued
