We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Contracts Manager to oversee and manage various scaffolding contracts based in the Central Belt. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction and scaffolding processes and have experience in coordinating projects from inception to completion. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and suppliers. Please note you will be required to travel throughout Scotland and North East England, therefore you must have a clean driver's license (up to 6 points).
Responsibilities
Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Coordinate with project managers to ensure that all contractual obligations are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and correspondence related to contract management.
Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to address any issues or discrepancies that may arise during the execution of contracts.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards and quality control measures.
Prepare reports on contract performance, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Assist in resolving disputes related to contracts in a timely manner.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Scaffolding Contracts Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
Strong knowledge of scaffolding processes.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for reviewing contracts thoroughly.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Proficient in using contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Hours - Monday - Friday 8 am - 5.30 pm, however, this may be subject to change depending on locations.
