About the Role:
The Scam Protection Team is part of the Member Engagement HUB (HUB) and was set up in 2015 to help protect members from falling victim to pension scams. The team support Trustees and administrators to meet the requirements of the new Transfer Regulations by talking to members directly helping to ensure they have been through a robust process and are not at risk of being scammed. The HUB sit alongside our Pensions Administration department and thus benefit from our long experience and outstanding credentials in this market.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing Senior Support on Scams Protection administration within a growing team.
Training of other team members.
Assisting less experienced team members.
Checking and authorising other team members' work.
Producing/Auditing reports for client teams/Trustees.
Auditing Scams calls conducted by other team members.
Dealing confidently with members by phone, email or letter.
Updating/Maintaining records on our primary database 'ASH', and online system and other databases.
Ensuring that member cases are dealt with in accordance with strict deadlines.
Overseeing production of monthly billing information.
Collation of data for Management Information (MI) and production of MI reports.
Reviewing and updating of Processes in line with industry changes
Implementation of new Clients.
Project work as directed by Team Leader or Manager.
Working closely with other departments/teams both internal and external to provide a total service to our clients (Administration, Clients, Scheme Actuary, Consultants, Providers and third parties).
Contributing to the development and maintenance of HUB processes and system development.
Compliance with business associated certifications where required.
Due to the changing nature of the business, the job holder may from time to time be required to undertake other activities of a similar nature that fall within their capabilities.
Your Profile:
Essential:
Previous experience in Pensions Administration or Pension Scams prevention.
Ideally, be educated to A-level standard.
Be able to demonstrate ownership, responsibility and accountability for self.
Be organised, methodical and logical in approach to tasks.
Have high standards, excellent quality of work and customer responsiveness.
Be able to develop and implement effective processes to manage a high volumes of tasks.
Have good leadership skills, the ability to manage own workload as well as assisting the team.
Be able to plan and be flexible with that plan.

Have experience of working with MS Office products, such as Outlook, Excel, Word.
