Job Description

On behalf of Network Rail, we are looking for a Scheme Project Manager - Learning & Development (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract. This is a hybrid working role (three days per week office based - Milton Keynes).

Job Purpose:

Accountable for managing the safe and effective delivery of low complexity projects (LoC 3 and 4) OR working as part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting the project or programme manager deliver key outputs of complex projects and programmes (LoC 1 and 2) in order to meet client requirements to time, cost, quality, and performance.



As a Scheme Project Manager - Learning & Development, your main responsibilities will be:



Manage the development and delivery of bespoke leadership development projects in compliance with company processes and procedures. Assisting in the creation of bespoke customer specific leadership development solutions Manage tactical change and risks within the project lifecycle for allocated projects. Assist or lead in the provision of a safe working environment in the execution of managed work. Manage the production of project management plans. Manage project budgets within agreed targets. Deliver regular progress reports on your allocated projects, including relevant risks and issues, to the Programme Manager (Change). Promote and monitor the use of efficiency improvement methods. Disseminate lessons learnt.

Essential:

Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience. Membership (or working towards membership) of the Association for Project Management. Achieved PRINCE2 Foundation or equivalent. Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Successful relevant experience including experience of contracting and project delivery.

Desirable:

Knowledge and/or experience in Learning & Development
