The role is offered part-time, five days per week during term time only plus five INSET days. But some flexibility on working hours and days will be considered for the right candidate.

About the role
You will primarily be based at the school's Hampden Road site, but may be required to work at our Priory Road site as well from time to time.
You will be involved in a variety of administrative duties to support the school's needs, but there will be a strong focus on administrative support relating to safeguarding and pupil attendance. As such, you will work closely with the Deputy Headteacher at Hampden Road.

About you
You need to have good interpersonal skills, including excellent communication skills, both face-to-face and on the telephone, good IT skills, and be able to work flexibly as part of a small and friendly team.
Safeguarding is a highly confidential area of responsibility, so the successful applicant will be someone who can handle sensitive and confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
Previous experience in a busy office environment is essential and previous knowledge of working in school administration, especially relating to safeguarding, would be an advantage.
