Summary



: School Administrator

Overview:



Moyles Court School is seeking an enthusiastic and versatile School Administrator to provide support across various departments, including Admissions, Marketing and Reception. The role requires excellent organisational skills, flexibility, and the ability to multitask in a busy school environment.

Key Responsibilities:



Admissions Support


Assist with the full admissions cycle.

Maintain accurate records of prospective pupils on the admissions database.

Coordinate, taster days, entrance assessments, and interview schedules.

Prepare and send offer letters, admissions packs, and relevant documentation.

Support UKVI visa documentation processes for international students where required.

Liaise with boarding staff regarding arrival dates, travel arrangements, and induction information.

Events and School lettings

Strong IT skills - Ideally knowledge of ISAMS and strong Word/Excel skills

Pupil Records & Administration



Maintain and update all pupil files in line with GDPR, and safeguarding regulations.

Ensure accurate record-keeping throughout a pupil's journey, including starters, current students and leavers.

Process and archive leavers' files in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements.

Support general office administration, including answering calls, managing emails, and welcoming visitors.

Prepare reports, correspondence and documentation for Senior Leadership Team, Admissions and Marketing teams.

Support Reception when necessary, ensuring a warm and professional front-of-house presence.

Support the organisation of Open Days and promotional events.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational abilities with a can-do attitude and attention to detail.

Strong IT skills - Ideally knowledge of ISAMS and strong Word/Excel skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a busy school environment.

Professional, friendly, and customer-focused approach.

Willingness to learn and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications & Experience



Previous administrative experience (education admissions preferred).

Experience in customer service

Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and international admissions processes beneficial

Desirable Criteria:



Previous experience in an administrative role, particularly in an educational or school environment.

Experience with admissions, or databases.

Familiarity with marketing, social media, or event organisation.

This post is permanent, all-year round.



Term-time hours:

8:15am - 5:15pm, Monday to Friday.

School Holidays:

Some flexibility on hours and days worked.

Flexibility in working hours may be required on occasion to assist with school events.

Salary:

Salary Range: 22,000 - 26,000 pro-rata. Dependent on experience and contractual hours.

Your annual leave entitlement is 28 days per annum (to include Bank Holidays)
