SEPTEMBER 2023 START

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our educational institution as a School Bursar. The School Bursar will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and administrative management of the school. This role requires a keen attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and a strong understanding of financial management principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the day-to-day financial operations of the school, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Developing and implementing financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the school\'s financial performance, identifying areas of improvement, and providing recommendations to the management.
  • Managing the school\'s payroll, ensuring accurate and timely processing of salaries and benefits.
  • Liaising with external auditors, tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial and regulatory requirements.
  • Overseeing the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
  • Collaborating with the school management team to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Conducting financial analysis and preparing reports for the school\'s leadership team.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
  • Managing the school\'s cash flow, including banking transactions and petty cash.
Experience required in Finance and the use of Sims system.
