An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong candidate to join our friendly and welcoming school in a key strategic role as School Business Manager
DETAILS:
Full-time. 36 hours per week in school. Term time plus 3 weeks (i.e. 42 weeks per year). Closing date for applicants is 29th September 2025 at 12:00 (noon).
WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO:
Has proven success working in the finance department in a Primary school setting, preferably already as a School Business Manager
Is highly motivated, organised and forward thinking with a "can-do" attitude
Has experience of working in a busy client-facing role, handling a wide range of activities
Is reliable and conscientious and able to work using their own initiative
Is positive, hard-working and an excellent communicator

THE RIGHT CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Recent experience of working in a Primary school setting (this is essential)
Educated to degree level or above (essential)
Excellent numeracy skills
Further education in finance / a finance qualification
A desire to work in school leadership
A high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
A flexible approach and the ability to use your own initiative when necessary
A commitment to the happiness well-being, self-esteem and progress of everyone at the school
