Key Responsibilities:
Office & Administration
- Lead the office and admin teams, ensuring the day-to-day running of the school is efficient and effective, developing use of the school MIS and other systems as necessary.
HR & Payroll
- Manage recruitment, staff contracts, HR policies and information for payroll.
Financial Management
- Day to day financial and resource management including credit control.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure the school meets all statutory and safeguarding requirements including Health & Safety.
Other Responsibilities
:
Line management of
Catering; Maintenance; Transport; outsourced IT support.
Events management & Clubs
Support and develop events, fundraising and holiday clubs.
About You
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and passionate professional who:
Has experience in financial and business management (ideally in a school setting).
Knowledge/experience of VAT, credit control and accounts payable.
HR/Payroll management knowledge/experience.
Is confident in managing resources, and compliance
Has excellent leadership and communication skills and is able to develop business growth.
Is a "hands on" team player who thrives in a collaborative and caring environment.
Has good systems and IT skills. If you have experience using ISAMS & Quickbooks this would be an advantage, although training will be provided.
The role is full-time for 39 weeks of the year in school plus work in the school holidays as necessary to ensure the smooth functioning of holiday projects, finance and enquiry management. Likely to be close to full-time, however, the school holidays offer some flexibility for home working as appropriate.
