Main Responsibilities:
As School Business Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across key areas, ensuring the smooth running of all non-teaching functions. You'll lead and manage teams in:
Facilities Management:
Having strategic management of health & safety, maintenance, and the upkeep of all learning environments.
Finance:
Strategic oversight of our Budget, income and expenditure, ensuring all financial controls are adhered to, and ensuring the school's financial health.
HR:
Leading on all aspects of employment life cycle including recruitment, training, appraisals and staff development.
ICT & Data Protection:
Ensuring our IT infrastructure and data systems meet school needs and comply with GDPR.
Office & Administration:
Leading front-of-house, events planning, and student record management.
Key Areas of Impact:
Lead a team of managers in finance, HR, facilities, IT, and administration.
Ensure compliance with health and safety, HR policies, financial controls, and GDPR.
Manage contracts and outsourced services (catering, IT, cleaning, and more).
Drive change and manage projects that enhance the operational efficiency of the school.
