Responsibilities



Assist the Head Chef in the preparation and cooking of high-quality dishes. Ensure all food is prepared according to established recipes and presentation standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Support team management by training and guiding junior kitchen staff as needed. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels. Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and improve existing offerings. Participate in daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, cooking, plating, and service. Assist in maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance issues promptly.

Experience



Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant or catering setting. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary skills. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene. Experience in team management or mentoring junior staff is advantageous. A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.

Pay: 13.00-16.00 per hour
