Job Description

The Treehouse Club is a Forestry Nursery and out of school club in the heart of Essex. Operating for 14 years, we have grown to 10 settings including nursery, preschool, after-school and holiday clubs and looking to expand further.

We are now looking for the right person to work at one of our Billericay Pre-Schools. If you love the outdoors and passionate about child and team well-being then you have the same ethos as us!

We are looking for a Pre-School Deputy Manager position who loves to explore the wider world around them and to provide great learning opportunities for the children.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm - Term Time Only



This position is a pro rata position.



We are looking for the Pre-School Deputy Manager to have:

A strong knowledge on EYFS frameworks and curriculums Understanding of OFSTED requirements and expectations Must have leadership experience
Pre-School Deputy Manager Job Role:

To promote a consistent approach working towards our visions and mission, improving the quality of learning and development in the company's settings and deploying this. Lead the team in the managers absence providing high standards of care and education for the children To lead if needed, Ofsted inspections and work with other local authorities as needed To support with company development. Overall management of Health and safety alongside the manager Review Staff development and implement improvement plans, alongside carrying out regular supervisions with the staff Ensure your setting is meeting the company policies and procedures Review setting development plans and target and update accordingly Provide the team with regular training updates, and ensure they are completing their mandatory training regularly Monitor and promote equality. Lead the nursery in their self-evaluation and quality assurance processes. To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed. Join monthly calls with the other deputies, senior managers and directors to keep up to date with the business

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.38 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
