The ideal candidate:

  • Supporting our students can sometimes be challenging, mental and physical resilience are qualities necessary for all our staff.
  • Experience in farming, horticulture, or animal husbandry.
  • Understanding or interest in how land-based learning can support emotional regulation, communication and independence.
  • Experience of working with children with special needs and challenging behaviour.
  • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, working alongside teachers, therapists and LSAs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with children with additional needs in a patient, creative and flexible way
