Permanent 32 hours per week 41 weeks per year (Term time plus 3 weeks)
As the new School Finance Manager, you will need to be a well-organised, energetic individual, capable of handling typical day-to-day financial responsibilities.
The key areas of focus for the successful candidate will be to have oversight of all matters relating to the administration of all school finances and to ensure such matters are handled in accordance with regulations to a high level of efficiency. This particularly applies to the provision of management information and operation of the school's bank accounts. To act as a key staff member supporting the academies' senior leadership team and also work closely with the Trust's central Finance team.
School Finance Manager duties include:
Review and manage school's day to day financial processes.
Financial modelling when requested to do so to enable strategic decision making.
Financial analysis and reconciliation
Ensure all budget holders manage their budget effectively.
Monitor the effectiveness of the deployment of resources against future business and school needs.
Benchmarking activities and recommendations for change.
Managing invoicing, POS and transactions
School Finance Manager Job Requirements:
Preferred experience working in the role within schools.
Proficient with accounting systems
Ability to use ICT systems
Possess relevant qualifications e.g. A level or NVQ3/AAT or equivalent

Pay: 25,932.00-27,385.00 per year
