School Health Assistant , term time, School Nursing - Bracknell



Interview will be held on 9th Sept 2025



We are looking to recruit a Band 3 S chool Health Assistant for 2 6 hours per week, working term time only, 39 weeks per year to our compassionate and supportive team in Bracknell . You will need to be motivated, innovative and looking to further develop your knowledge and skills within the NHS. We will ensure you receive devoted, effective support from both your manager and colleagues within your team.



This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Bracknell S chool N ursing team to deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) to children in Reception year and Year 6. Y ou will require excellent organisational skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along with great communication and a passion for working with children and families whilst being able to adapt to continuing change.



Work base:

The Rowans Children's Centre, Pondmoor Road, Bracknell, RG12 7JZ



Hours:

2 6 hours per week to be worked flexibly over 4 or 5 days term time only



Parking:

Staff parking is available on site free of charge.



Deliver the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP) for children in Year R and Year 6



Co-ordinate the delivery timetable of all commissioned schools



Input collected data onto the NCMP database



Contribute to developing, reviewing and improving the service delivery of the NCMP



Undertake hearing tests and make referrals to Paediatric Audiology



Provide administrative support to the school nursing team when required

You must be able to work without direct supervision and manage your own workload



A degree of agility and the ability to carry/manoeuvre light to moderate loads



Car driver with ability and readiness to travel to multiple sites
