Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Team Member to join our team in a school kitchen. You can be any level from kitchen porter to Head chef. IMPORTANT: You will have to undergo an enhanced DBS check to work these shifts. You must have previous kitchen experience, if it is in a school, that is a plus.
Due to the nature of this role being self-employed, we cannot accept student visas.
Duties
Support the kitchen staff in meal preparation and cooking tasks Assist with food safety procedures and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen Collaborate with the team to ensure timely and efficient service Help with catering orders when required Contribute to a positive working environment in the kitchen
Qualifications
RTW in the UK (NO STUDENT VISAS) 5 years worth of job references (MUST) Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting (MUST) Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team Basic understanding of health and safety regulations in a kitchen environment
Job Types: Freelance, Zero hours contract
Pay: 13.00-20.00 per hour
