Learning Support Workers
to support pupils withSpecial Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
across mainstream and specialist schools inEllesmere Port
.This is a rewarding role where you'll help children and young people with

to access education in a safe, inclusive environment.About the Role

education, care, youth work, coaching
, or hold a relevant qualification such aspsychology or childcare
, this position offers a meaningful way to impact young lives.Key Responsibilities
Provide
1:1 and small group support
tailored to pupils with SEND Assist in implementingIndividual Education Plans (IEPs)
and behaviour strategies Foster asafe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Support pupils in developingconfidence, independence, and social skills
Work collaboratively withteachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
Help managetransitions and classroom routines
for pupils with additional needsEnsure safeguarding and child protection policies are followed at all times
What We're Looking For
Experience supporting individuals with SEND in
educational, care, or community settings
A relevant qualification (e.g.,psychology, childcare, education
) is desirable but not essential Strongcommunication and teamwork skills
Apatient, empathetic, and proactive approach
to supporting young people A genuine interest ininclusive education and child development
