Job Description

Reliable Minibus Driver required for schools and community transport work . Required to provide transport Mon-Fri 0730am - 09.15am & 2.45pm -4.30 pm . Predominately schools/college work but may also include transporting passenger to day centre, clubs and Dial a Ride journeys . Other responsibilities are to carry out safety checks on their vehicle, keeping the vehicle clean and taking fares where required . It is essential that the person appointed is reliable , flexible , a good time keeper and are able to work on their own initiative . Applicants must have a D1 category on their driving licence ( no more than 3 current penalty point) and will need to pass a driving assessment and a DBS check before they are appointed. 17.5 hours per week ( split shift) , School term time only on an annual salary of 8650 which is paid monthly across 12 months. Training and uniform provided.
