The Role:
We are looking for two hardworking and reliable Minibus Drivers to join our exceptional driving team in Howell's School. The role involves transporting students to and from school on one of our school bus routes, and on educational visits as required. The successful candidate will be an experienced driver with a friendly and reassuring manner with children and parents.
Skills & Experience required:
A valid Category D1 entitlement plus an acceptable driving record.
The ability to understand written and oral instructions
Able to carry out daily check of allotted minibus before use, including tyres, indicators, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, mirrors
Able to comply with all road safety and health and safety regulations; GDST Driving at Work policies; and specific risk assessments as required
The ability to maintain good customer relations with parents and the school and contributing to a good atmosphere on the bus.

Self-motivated with a positive 'can do' approach to work
Reliable & punctual
A current MIDAS training certificate and suitable First Aid qualification are desirable, but training can be provided.
