We are looking for a caring and compassionate healthcare professional to join our team as School Nurse (Matron) to ensure the good health and welfare of all students. The post requires professionalism, enthusiasm, initiative, common sense, and the ability to work under pressure. This is a wonderful opportunity to care for our students in a warm and vibrant community, the School Nurse (Matron) will be responsible for all aspects of medical care.


As School Nurse (Matron) you will need to be sympathetic and supportive to all members of the school community and will provide a holistic approach which includes health promotion, personal, social and health education (PSHE) and illness and injury assessment and treatment.

Founded in 1926, Crompton House is an 11 18 co-educational Church of England comprehensive school and sixth form with Multi Academy Trust status. Our Multi Academy Trust is a thriving, diverse and proud community with the vison to allow all children to experience ' life in all its fullness'.


Located in pleasant and spacious grounds in Oldham, north east of Manchester, Crompton House has around 1700 students and has seen recent investment in a state-of-the-art teaching block , as well as new technology, science, art, design technology, food, and sporting facilities.
