Our Administration Department plays a vital role in supporting the smooth running of the school, ensuring that staff, students, and visitors experience a welcoming and well-organised environment every day.
The Role:
As our School Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and callers--making a lasting impression through your professionalism and warmth. You'll also provide essential administrative support to help keep the school running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate attendance records and follow up on absences using ISAMS.
Greet and assist all visitors, staff, and students with a calm and courteous manner.
Manage incoming calls and emails efficiently and professionally.
Support the wider admin team with clerical tasks such as photocopying, scanning, and document creation.
Help keep internal communications up to date, including digital notice boards and bulletins.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for someone who is friendly, approachable, and confident in dealing with a wide range of people. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail. Calm under pressure and able to prioritise tasks effectively. Discreet and professional, especially when handling sensitive information.
Essential:
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
At least 2 years' experience in reception or administrative work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
Desirable:
Experience working in a school environment.
Familiarity with school systems and procedures.

Working Arrangements:
Term time only plus an additional 3 weeks (37 weeks a year)
Monday to Friday 12.30pm to 6pm and every other Saturday 8am to 12pm
